What it is:
This course, for workplace trainers and educators in New Zealand, teaches how to train learners who are from different cultural groups. The course is linked to unit standard 7091, Facilitate adult learning in New Zealand's cultural environment. There is free access to the introductory topic in the course and a simple on-line enrolment provides a user name and password for access to the entire course and the assessment for US7091.
What we did:
The Cultural training website project was an example where we can slot into an existing system and make changes as required. We built this website using the other Pact training website as a template to build from. Nyx copied the initial training website and used the copy to develop the new Cultural training site. We did this to reduce development time, reduce cost and to keep all of the Pact training courses using the same system for consistancy.
